I already take vitamin D, when should I stop taking the supplement so that the test result is not affected?

Vitamin D is fat-soluble and is stored in fatty tissue. Thus we can also get vitamin D formed in summer during the winter months. If you do not want your supplemented dose of vitamin D to be reflected in your test result, you should stop taking it approximately one week before the test. If however you would like the test result to reflect your supplementation, then supplementation does not need to be discontinued.
